Ordinal Software is a French MES and SCADA software editor founded in 1989, now an independent subsidiary of the CODRA Group since July 2022. The company develops COOX, an integrated and modular MES + SCADA platform built on ISA-95 and ISA-88 standards using Java and JavaScript web technology. COOX delivers production order management, recipe and routing execution, process traceability, product genealogy, material flow monitoring, quality control, OEE analysis, and Manufacturing Intelligence on a single unified platform — covering continuous, discrete, and batch manufacturing. With over 8,000 licenses sold and installations at 700+ end-user facilities across hundreds of industrial sites, Ordinal operates through a network of more than 250 certified integrator partners worldwide. Together with the CODRA Group (Panorama SCADA), Ordinal positions itself as an independent European alternative to American publishers and automation vendor-tied MES platforms.
