Exotec is a French warehouse automation company founded in 2015 in Lille by Romain Moulin and Renaud Heitz, developing goods-to-person robotic systems for global retail and logistics brands. The company's Skypod system combines autonomous mobile robots, high-density racking, and proprietary warehouse management software to deliver flexible, scalable order fulfilment. Customers include Carrefour, Decathlon, Gap, and Uniqlo. Exotec became a unicorn in 2022 at a $2B valuation and employs over 1,000 people across France, the USA, Germany, and Japan.
