Kairos Technology is a Norwegian software company founded in 2014 in Stavanger, specialising in AI-powered control room decision support for the energy industry. The company's flagship product, the Kairos Control Room Assistant (CRA), uses Multilevel Flow Modelling (MFM) — a methodology developed at the Technical University of Denmark to provide real-time automated monitoring, root cause analysis, and decision support when abnormal situations occur in complex process systems. Working closely with E&P companies and control room operators, Kairos helps reduce the impact of abnormal situations, avoid unplanned shutdowns, and increase production efficiency. The CRA analyses process data in real time to help operators take the correct corrective actions faster. The company also offers a HAZOP Assistant for safety analysis. Originally founded as Eldor Technology, the company rebranded to Kairos Technology to reflect its product focus. With offices in Norway, Denmark, and the UK, Kairos serves the oil & gas and process industries.
