About
EddySonix designs and manufactures automated non-destructive testing (NDT) machines in Orbe, Switzerland, for automotive and aerospace manufacturers. Our Eddy Current Scanner (ECS) measures effective case depth (ECD) in induction-hardened axle bars, tulip stems and fixed outer race (FOR) stems without cutting the component. Automated scanning provides numerical ECD results at defined positions and pass/fail assessment for production quality control, helping manufacturers monitor induction hardening quality and reduce routine destructive testing. Each application is validated against microhardness cut-check results. Measurement positions and performance are defined for the specific component and process. We also develop acoustic resonance systems using impact (ARI) and sweep excitation (ARS) to assess component quality and structural integrity. We supply complete inspection machines, dedicated coils, measurement software, application development, installation and training to customers worldwide.
